1. Punk Radio Cast DJing The Revolution a huge Punk Internet Radio Station. Aggravated with the availability of music they liked and infuriated with the state of the media, fifteen year old innovator Danny Keyes and thirteen year old entrepreneur Mike Saddler created and deployed PunkRadioCast as an outlet and pursued it as a hobby. The idea was conceived during a summer fishing trip and was put into action with their first broadcast on October 16th, 1999 from Danny’s parent’s basement. Danny and Mike pieced together a website and built a studio equipped with two microphones. Due to the consumption of massive amounts of alcohol at this time, not much is remembered.
Today a 24 hour punk station with a library of over 20,000 artists, a team of 18 DJ’s, 6 behind the scenes employees, and is broadcasted worldwide to more than 4 million listeners monthly.
