Barnby Road School - caters for children aged between three and eleven years old. The school was opened January 1984 and was formed from the Barnby Road Junior School and the Barnby Road Infants School.

John Hunt Infant & Nursery School - located in Balderton, Newark, Notts, and caters for 3 - 7 year olds. John Hunt Infant School was opened in its present building in 1964. They have bright, airy classrooms with plenty of space for children to work together.

Newark Orchard School - opened in 1996 and is an area Special School with three sites. The Primary Department is on Appleton Gate in the centre of Newark and meets the needs of youngsters aged between 3 and 11. At the rear of this building is the Post 16 base which offers Post 16 education for students aged between 16 and 19. The Secondary Department (Key Stages 3 and 4) is based on the London Road at Balderton and offers secondary education for young people aged between 11 and 16.
