1. FindLaw - around half of this dictionaries homepage belongs to advertising, now that does not mean the dictionaries not a good one. If your in need of legal research and require a word meaning try a search, you might just find what your looking for. A note, the sites looks to have a really good services but they spoil it in my opinion by sticking adverts right in your face, some subtlety could really help it.

4. Law Guru - this dictionary is based on the 1856 edition of the Bouviers Law Dictionary. Although the legal dictionary is pretty old, many of the definitions are still proper (since most legal terms in use today were coined well before 1856). This database contains 6,500+ definitions. Simply type in the correct spelling of the search term and hit the search button. If you are not sure about the correct spelling of the term, then enter the first few letters of the term. You can also browse definitions alphabetically.
