Falmouth Art Gallery - in its present form opened on 12 October 1978. It was renovated with grant aid from The National Heritage Lottery Fund and other funding bodies, opening on 31 May 1996. Lifelong Learning, the gallery has gained nationwide recognition for its innovative education programme.

Falmouth Week - sailing regatta in the South West providing a racing schedule for sailors retaining a fun and friendly feel which also attracts families and the less experienced. Falmouth Week starts with the Falmouth Classics event followed by six days of match racing for keelboats, traditional craft and dinghies in the waters of Falmouth Bay, the Carrick Roads and the Harbour.
